2012 Call for Proposals for Projects under International Collaborative Research and Development Programme

In an effort to keep up with the global trend of openness, convergence and globalization of industrial technologies, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) hereby announces the launch of the 2012 International Collaborative Research and Development Programme that has been designed to promote collaborative research and development between outstanding domestic and overseas research organizations. Organizations and companies that intend to participate in 2012 international collaborative R&D programme are expected to submit their proposals according to the procedures set forth below:

2. Detail Information of Each Programme

Industry Strategic Related Type

Technologies of high innovativeness, spillover  effect, and urgency, etc. are designated as strategic technologies to be developed through international collaborative R&D projects. These R&D projects are carried out by domestic organization led consortia comprised of domestic and foreign participants (including academia, enterprises, etc.) (Top-Down approach)

EUREKA

A project pursued by research organizations from more EUREKA European member countries together with a domestic research organization that has been endorsed during one of the regular EUREKA conferences.

  • Duration: Maximum 3 years
  • Funding per project: 203,000 Euro per year

EU FP

A project in participation with research partners from FP member countries and/or joint participation of FP member countries and associated countries that is approved by the European Commission or a project aimed to carry out preparatory activities for participation in the EU FP.
